Le Couvent des Cordeliers is a charming and romantic manor house for your wedding. Dating back to the 15th century it is set behind a private gated entrance and cloistered within the beautiful courtyard gardens and walled riverside terrace. You can enjoy its privacy and also benefit from its location in the heart of Verteuil-sur-Charente; one of the prettiest historical villages in south west France with its famous fairy-tale château and charming village shops, restaurants and bars just two minutes walk from the property. The property can accommodate maximum 40 people for the lunchtime only celebration and 12 guests staying in-house within the 6 double bedrooms. 

Additionally, within the grounds is our Chapel of St François which is available for your wedding day ceremony.
